The ladies at Paphos Shooting Stars Walking Netball recently held a charity fun day to raise money for Tala Cats and Peyia Dogs.
Together, with partners, we had fantastic time playing rounders. Competition was fierce but friendly, with some brilliant batting, spectacular fielding and most of all the laughter that never stopped. We finished up with a picnic and a mini auction.
We all paid €5.00 to enter and this together with the auction raised an amazing €510 which will be split equally between the two wonderful charities. One of our members who volunteers at Tala Cats, Jackie Senior, received the money on their behalf and food and supplies have been bought.
Well done to everyone who took part, we look forward to the next charitable event.
