Cycle Cyprus Odyssey: Around The Island In Six Days

This year the Happy Cyclists are embarking on a six-day journey, exploring new routes and reaching every corner of Cyprus. Following a costal route that covers over 650 kms and 5,000 meters of climbs, they face a truly challenging adventure.

The 10 expat cyclists, led by Ian Patridge, includes Janice Eastman who at the age of 70 is taking on this grueling task with true grit determination, and a smile.

The entire trip is self-funded, ensuring that every cent raised from donations will go directly to the nominated charities. Knowing that their efforts will have a positive impact on these worthwhile causes makes the journey even more meaningful.

The two selected charities are

St Michael’s Hospice Charity
The charity helps raise money for the Archangel Pasycaf Hospice based in Mesa Chorio. It provides exceptional palliative and respite care to those in need, regardless of race, colour or creed.

TNR (Trap-Neuter-Release)
A registered charity in Cyprus, TNR has been working in Pegia and Coral Bay areas for many years, striving to reduce the number of unwanted kittens through their spay and neuter programs. They also play a vital role in caring for may abandoned cats in these communities.
