CCTV video footage has been posted on YouTube showing the effects of last night’s earthquake on a Paphos District Supermarket.
The footage shows the moment the earthquake struck shaking shelves and knocking items to the floor in Polycarpou Supermarket in Stroumpi.
In an announcement on Tuesday the the Civil Defence Force informed the public that there have not been any serious damages or injuries from the strong earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 on the Richter scale, which occurred at 03.08 in the morning and was felt throughout Cyprus and especially in the District of Pafos.
