The Department of Meteorology has issued a Yellow Thunderstorm warning which will be in place from 7am on Friday 8th until 2am on Saturday 9th December.
Isolated heavy thunderstorms are expected to affect the area at times. Precipitation rates are expected to exceed the range of 35 millimeters per hour and the presence of hail is likely.
