The Cyprus Meteorological Service have issued a Yellow Thunderstorm Warning. The warning is in place from 11am until 6pm on Monday 28th August 2023.
Isolated thunderstorms are expected to affect mainly mountainous areas and the Eastern half of the island. Precipitation rate is expected to range between 35 and 55 millimeters per hour, while hail is also likely.
