So to keep the ladies happy, one evening in October, a party of 22 players, 4 coaches, a referee and one supporter set off from Paphos for a weekend of walking football.
Hosted by the fabulous Kalives Titans Walking Football Club, who allowed us to use their facilities for free, we embarked on three days of football and fun, with the emphasis on team bonding and improving both individually and tactically.
A friendly match vs Kalives Titans men’s team on the Sunday summed up the weekend, with a battling performance earning them a 1-1 draw, great preparation for the forthcoming visit in March of the England Ladies Walking Football over 50’s and over 60’s teams.
We experienced wonderful Cretan hospitality during the whole trip and will definitely do it again next year!

As for our monthly Cyprus ladies training days…….well they are more popular than ever, with over 40 ladies attending.
