The Department of Meteorology has issued a Yellow Thunderstorm warning which will be in place from 12pm on Thursday 21st December until 2am on Friday 22nd December 2023.
Isolated heavy thunderstorms are expected to affect initially the west half of the island and gradually the rest of the island. In storm hail is also likely while winds may be variable strengthening. Precipitation rate is expected to range between 35 and 55 millimeters per hour.
