The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued two Yellow High Temperature Warnings covering tonight and tomorrow.
Tonight’s Yellow Warning is in place from 9pm until 7am. The minimum temperature over inland areas is expected to fall to around 28 degrees Celsius.
The Yellow High Temperature warning for Monday is in place from 11am until 5pm. The maximum temperature is expected to rise to around 42 degrees Celsius over inland areas and to around 32 degrees Celsius over the higher mountainous areas.
The Department of Meteorology advise to be aware that high temperatures are expected. Some health risks amongst vulnerable people e.g. the elderly and very young are possible.
