The Cyprus Met Office have issued a Yellow Extreme High Temperature Warning.
The yellow alert is valid from 1pm until 4:30pm on Sunday 4th August 2019.
The Department of Meteorology state that the maximum temperature is expected to rise to around 41 degrees Celsius inland and to around 33 degrees Celsius over troodos’ highest peaks.
