The Cyprus Met Office have issued a Yellow Extreme High Temperature Warning.
The yellow alert is valid from 12pm until 5pm on Sunday 11th August 2019.
The Department of Meteorology state that the maximum temperature is expected to rise to around 41 degrees Celsius inland and to around 32 degrees Celsius over troodos’ highest peaks.
