The Archangel Fundraising Ladies are now fully based in the Archangel Michael Hospice and whilst we have always worked at fund-raising for them, and all our money has always gone directly and immediately to them, it is now official!
We are truly part of the Archangel Michael Hospice team.
We would like to thank representatives of the Hospice Trustees for their kind words and its nice to know we are so appreciated.
October although a relatively quiet month still brought in money for the Hospice which is of course our aim and driving force.
Our event held on the 17th December “An Evening With Dominic Holmes” sold out in less than 1 week and we would like to thank both Dominic and Akis Taverna for all their help with making this event such a success.
We had raffles at Little Eagles concert, (thank you Karen Kendall). Bucket rattled at the Guinness World Record Hasapiko Dance at the harbor and at the Russian Children’s Festival. And with many thank to Lynn Tomlin we have had a presence at several events in Polis and Latchi helping to spread the word in that area to. In Fact our initiative CHANGE for ArCHANGEl came from there.
On to December, when we have several evens planned, Begonia Garden Centre have given us a table at their Christmas Market on the 1st, we have a Christmas Shopping coach trip on the 10th December, for more information, please contact Linda on99562387. We then have our annual Christmas Fair at the Hospice on 12th December, starting at 10.00am, with lots of stalls and wonderful entertainment by the amazing chorus Island Blend, who are worth the €5 entrance fee on their own, if you have never heard then please come along and hear them, you will not be disappointed, those of you who have will want to come and listen again.
We now have ladies active in both Pissouri and Polis area, so if anyone would like to help in either of these area, with helping us raise funds in these area, please get in touch, we always need support.
