Weather Warning: Yellow Thunderstorm Warning Issued for Monday

The Cyprus Department Of Meteorology have issued a Yellow Thunderstorm Warning for Monday 30^th November. The warning is valid from 4am until 5pm.

Isolated heavy thunderstorms are expected to affect the area, at first mainly over the coasts but later elsewhere as well. Shower rates may exceed 35mm per hour, with risk of hail.

Cyprus Department of Meteorology advice is to be AWARE that thunderstorms may occur. Take extra care in exposed areas, like mountains, forest and open terrain. Disruption to outdoor activities is possible.
