The Paphos Kidney (Pka) Association. Message From Dr. Pavlos Georgiou,Head Of The Paphos Renal Unit

“I would like to personally thank the Paphos Kidney Association (PKA) for their tireless work in garnering donations from a generous public, which greatly benefit the patients of our kidney dialysis unit in St. George’s hospital in Paphos.

These donations are used to purchase dialysis units and other vital equipment such as the Therapy Data Management System (TDMS). This has been a fantastic upgrade of our system of care.

TDMS is a software solution for managing dialysis treatments, data, and patient documentation. It is used in clinical settings to monitor therapy, manage ultra-filtration, and streamline workflows.

Colin Davis, Captain of the Minthis Golf Club 2025 presented a cheque for €3750 to  PKA President Grace Cullen and PKA board member Aris Arestis on 2nd February. A tremendous achievement gathered from various events and members of the club.

It has given us accurate, real-time data for every patient treatment, improved the safety of our treatments, reduced errors, and strengthened the clinical oversight we offer.

Simply put, it allows us to provide haemodialysis at a higher standard — more efficient, more controlled, and ultimately safer for our patients.

Your contributions didn’t just bring technology into our unit.

It improved our workflow, supported our staff, and made a real difference to the people who depend on dialysis every day.

Your donation has had a meaningful impact, and we see its value in every single session.

On behalf of myself and our entire team, thank you”.
