We have all become used to seeing images of the heavy snowfall in the Troodos Mountains during recent weeks, but we haven’t seen snow in Paphos. This afternoon it was the turn of the residents of Paphos District’s inland villages to experience Cyprus’ winter wonderland.
Unusually heavy snowfall was experienced throughout the inland villages including Koili, Kallepia, Polemi, Stroumbi and Kathikas. It was reported by many motorists that driving conditions on the Paphos to Polis Road were particularly treacherous.
