Now Open in Argaka
George and Andrea have created a new winter venue in Argaka where their customers are able to relax and enjoy the beautiful views from the Santa Barbara Restaurant in the warm whilst having a coffee, snack or a meal.
Just across the road from the popular summer resto and beach bar, the large restaurant space has been renovated and transformed into a light and airy space where there is something for everyone, from sofas around the fire and a cozy snug area for a casual drink, to more formal restaurant seating. Traditional rustic meets tasteful modern in the new layout to provide customers with welcoming and comfortable areas whilst also allowing for the exceptional service that we all appreciated in the summer months from the family who run Santa Barbara.
The old structural elements inside have been carefully restored and a handcrafted bar built. In addition to the log fireplace, a large woodburner has been installed in the glass fronted conservatory area so that customers may enjoy the winter seascape and the spectacular sunsets over the sea in comfort. The beach paths along the stretch of road in the area are almost complete now and are ideal for a walk along this unspoilt stretch of coastline, with the staff at Santa Barbara waiting to welcome you with a drink, a warming soup, snack or a meal afterwards.
There are some new additions to the menu too, such as jacket potatoes on the snack menu (which is available up to 3pm); salmon fillet with a choice of sauces; chicken a la crème…. plus the enhanced children’s menu now including dishes such as moussaka.
The drinks menu has some new cocktails and proseco is now available by the bottle or the glass – why not celebrate your special occasion with this at Santa Barbara and enjoy our fresh lobster too? Santa Barbara is open from 11am Tuesday to Sunday each week throughout the winter months.
