Refugees in Cyprus are sending out a plea to everyone for help to supply some basic items for the poor families & refugees living in our communities and refugee camps. Many of these families include children & babies, and they rely on our ongoing help. We desperately need toiletries (shampoo, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, NAPPIES, FORMULA, wipes, creams) along with food (dry foods, tins, packets, sugar, flour etc) & washing powder to pass on to these families.
@cyprusrefugees is an online Facebook project which sole aim is to help needy families of all nationalities & backgrounds by providing them with the basic items we believe everyone should have.
We do not judge or ask questions but simply try to offer some help where we can. Over the winter we provided clothing, blankets & food to the most vulnerable of these families. But we are now struggling to provide families with the additional food, toiletries, household items they greatly need. If you can help in anyway (however small your donation) we would be most grateful.
We have drop off points at RSS Logistics, Peyia.. BrightStars Nursery, Peyia… Samaritans Charity shops (Chloraka, Paphos, Limassol)… we also have drop off points in Pissouri, on Episkopi base & Akrotiri base. Full details of these are on our Facebook page @cyprusrefugees
