Angel Guardians Funeral Home’s financial support has enabled the club to purchase some brand new kit specially for our forthcoming league matches and further prestige tournaments. That isn’t all – as we have also purchased a new white training top for every player at the club (see photo of players modelling both kits along with Maureen Watt from Angel Guardians Funeral Home).
All the shirts are proudly promoting ‘Angel Guardians Funeral Home’ logo and information.
“My saying to people are, I’d rather they got out and socialised, befriended new people, enjoy the fresh air and also simple keep fit and the Pafos United walking football club is perfect for that” said Maureen Watt.
There have been some awards recently; firstly the club’s August Player of the Month – goes to one of our youngest players Andreas “Zecke” Neuendorf – see photo of him being presented the award by PUWFC Team Manager Alex Cameron.
Furthermore, Pafos United WFC’s kit launch was on the same day as a number of club members were participating in their ‘WFA – Walking Football Accreditation Coaching Certificate (Part 2).
We are excited to announce as well as congratulate Alex Cameron, Laurence Dougherty, Trevor Trueman and Malcolm Newell who now all passed with flying colours and along with Benedict Tumber are fully qualified ‘Walking Football’ coaches at the club.
Congratulations are also in order for our Honorary President Tony Watson who has been selected to officiate at the forthcoming European Nations Walking Football Cup in Spain in November.
