Like most local Charites we are struggling with fund raising as our events cannot take place and our Shelter needs lots of food, medicine’s, cleaning materials Mops, Bleach etc ……
Volunteers for the Shelter to clean and feed the many dogs we home and our Charity Shop in Chlorakas are always in need of help and if there are people reading your Newspaper and feel they can spare a few hours per week this would be very helpful to keeping our excellent Shelter’s work. A very Big Thank You to all the members of Paphos area who have bought our 2021 Calendars this is a life saving publication and even though I say so myself a lovely calendar. If you are struggling to buy on we have several places in the are where you can pick one up once they are allowed to open. During 2020 Paws managed to home lots of dogs and Zypenhunde a Charity in Germany homed 216 and sent much needed funds to help Paws to keep up the high standards in feeding the dogs with excellent food. A very big Thank you to all in Germany who assist us in finding loving homes .
At his moment in time the Shelter Vehicle is off the road again waiting for parts which are stuck in the UK due to Brexit. If any Car repairer out there can help us please ring Matt 99683775 and he will tell you the Vehicle type.
There are still many stray dogs especially in the Tala area and most of them have Giardia which of course has to be treated and the dogs isolated so they do not spread it to the other dogs in the shelter……. Special food is also given to the Dogs as they need to be healthy to beat any infections which could be passed on.
