In a previous issue we mentioned that the ladies at Paphos Shooting Stars Walking Netball recently held a charity fun day to raise money for Tala Cats and Peyia Dogs. In March the donation was gratefully received by Tala Cats.
In April one of our ladies, Sharon Batchelor, visited Peyia Dog Pound and handed over their part of the money raised which will help them to support all the dogs and new puppies that continue to need their care. Thank you everyone who contributed.
Paphos Shooting Stars Walking Netball group has continued to grow over the last few months with new ladies coming to give it a try and despite the awful weather we have been having they have come back and enjoyed the fun and friendship.
So, If you have recently moved here and want to meet new people or looking for a fun way to get fit why don’t you come along to the courts by Peyia Stadium on Thursday mornings at 9.30 – 11 or contact Cath via Whatsapp on +44 7938 652454.
We also meet on a Monday at the same time and place and depending on numbers you can join in netball (running), rounders or stoolball.
