Paphos bus drivers have announced a strike for Wednesday 9th January 2019 affecting both passenger buses and school buses.
The strike is due to the ongoing complaints over delays in wages, in this instance it is the non payment by Oyspa of the bus driver’s December wages.
The last strike by the bus drivers was in December when the drivers went on strike over the delay in payment of their November wages. This forms part of an issue that Oyspa has with the government over delay’s in their financial contribution to the bus company.
