Throughout the last year the club has grown in strength and fully support the two new club’s here in the Pafos Region (Akamas Turtles WFC & Pafos Snails WFC). There has been some stalwarts leave the club for pastures new, with both Haddi Hillmarson and Graham Ward, who were both part of the initial formation of the club back in February/March 2019. The club now has both a Ladies Team Manager in Carry Johnson and a new Men’s Team Manager in Malcolm Newell, both of whom enjoy being proactive with walking football here on the island.
The ladies section of the club are hosting the second Chase Buchanan Cup Competition over the weekend 27th/28th April, at the AM Fairgame Sports Centre in Tremithousa. The event is again sponsored by Chase Buchannan, Mayfair Hotel, AM Fairgame Sports Centre, Savvas Opticial, The One Café in Emba. There are currently 4 teams from the island with a further 5 coming from the UK.
There are currently 9 members of the club undertaking the first CWFF/WFA Referee’s course under the guidance of the CWFF Referee Mentor’s (Mark Hignett & John Fitzsimmons).
