The Department of Meteorology has issued an Orange Weather Warning which will be in place from 10pm on Monday 29th January until 10pm on Wednesday 31st January 2024.
Rain with local heavy thunderstorms are expected to affect mainly the north half and eastern areas of the island at times. Hail is also likely. Precipitation rate is expected to range between 55 and 70 millimeters per hour.

The Department of Meteorology, due to the fact that in the following days until Wednesday 31/01/202 local rains are expected, which in some cases may be intense, reminds that in all cases where there is a possibility of rain the agencies and citizens who have drainage wells under their control should check and clean them to avoid accumulation of water.
The public is advised to monitor weather reports and warnings issued by the Department of Meteorology.
