On Monday evening the programme for this year’s Limassol Carnival was announced. The eleven days of events will commence on Wednesday 6th March culminating in the Great Carnival Parade on Sunday 17th March.

Wednesday 6th March 2024
7.30 p.m. Theomaria Art Gallery
(7 Vasilissis Karlottas & Elenis Paleologinas Street)
The Theomaria Art Gallery hosts for the 17th consecutive year a mask exhibition with the theme “Carnival is color! Color in life! Color in art!” of Vera Efthimios Parlalidou.
The opening of the exhibition will be held by the Mayor of Limassol, Mr. Nikos Nicolaidis.
8:00 pm. Welcome to the Limassol Carnival
With carols from various groups in a tour through the narrow and romantic streets of the city.
The vocal ensemble of the Cultural Group Diastiasi, starting from the Municipal University Library, will sing in the adjacent streets.
The Modern Times Singers group sings on Gladstonos Street.
The group Kantadoroi Limassol sings in the square of the Medieval Castle of Limassol.
The group of Cypriot singers sings in Pantopoleiou Square.
Thursday 7th March 2024
11.00 am Carnival spree with music and treats in front of the Hellenic Bank (Gladstonos Street) and the Bank of Cyprus (Agios Andreou Street opposite Agia Napa Church).
1.30 p.m. The group “Kantadoroi Limassol” sing in Sharipoulou Square for the whole world. A DJ program will follow until 5.00 pm.
6.00 p.m. Municipal Hal.l The Municipality of Limassol in collaboration with the Union of Self-taught Painters (Limassol) are organising a Painting Exhibition with the theme “Carnival 2024”. The children’s choir and the mixed choir of the Municipality of Kato Polemidion participate.
Grigoris Auxentiou Square
6.00 p.m. Grigoris Auxentiou Square (Command Office) comes alive and seduces us to the rhythms of the Carnival with music and song.
Rhythm is provided by the Batukinio percussion group, followed by the group “The latin way of pop”. Pop and soul music are masked and danced to rhythms from Cuba to Brazil. Marguerita Freeks- vocals, Giorgos Morfitis- piano and arrangements, Andreas Rodosthenous- electric bass, Odysseas Toumazou- guitar, Andreas Stefanou- drums, Rodos Panagiotou- percussion.
7.00 p.m. The Mayor and the Municipal Council, the Royal Family, the Philharmonic of the Municipality of Limassol, the Majorettes of the Corps of Cypriot Guides and the Majorettes of Limassol start from the Patticheio Municipal Theatre, in a procession and will head towards Grigori Auxentiou Square (Administration). Kantadori Giorgalletou and Kantadori Ariones are ahead.
7.30 p.m. The Queen of Limassol, the jewel of the Mediterranean enters the city on an impressive chariot with her entourage for the coronation ceremony to follow.
This is followed by a carnival party with song and dance from everyone’s favorite Paschal, with songs from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s until today
Here in Limassol! All toil in disguise!
The floats of the cantadores as well as the philharmonic band of the Municipality of Limassol together with the cheerleading groups will parade from the Patticheio Municipal Theater to the end of Independence Street.
Friday 8th March 2024
Night of Kantadoros
7.00 p.m. Square of the Medieval Castle of Limassol
Route: Starting from Kanali 6 on Odos Irini and ending at the Medieval Castle Square.
Participating are the Modern Times Singers, the Cypriot Singers group, the Limassol Singers group, the Ariones Singers, the EDON Limassol Singers, the EAC Employees Cultural Club Choir, the “Ilandron” Male Vocal Ensemble and the “Musical Wanderings” choir.
Saturday 9th March 2024
10.30 am Hellenic Bank ( Gladstonos Street)
The Municipality’s train will run in the city center. The first route starts at 10.30am. A priority order will be observed for all children who will come to the venue.
12:00 The choir of Maria Diamantidou and the mandolin player of Georgia Kobous sing on Agios Andreou Street ending at the square of the Medieval Castle of Limassol.
3.00 p.m. The members of the Limassol Cycling Club cycle through the city in a Carnival mood.
Start and Finish: Medieval Castle Square.
6.00 p.m. Candidates event outside the Municipal University Library. (Agiou Andreou)
The Municipality of Limassol in collaboration with the group “Kantadoroi Limassol” are organizing an event with carols and carnival songs. The singers of EDON Limassol, the Modern Times Singers, the Ariones Singers, the group “Kantadori Limassol” and the “Ilandron” Male Vocal Ensemble sing.
Sunday 10th March 2024
11.30 am Children’s Carnival Parade.
Start: Beach Road, Public Garden traffic lights, heading towards the old Port.
End: Molos parking lot located below the “Red” cafe (second parking lot).
Our little carnivalists have their due.
The parade will be preceded by the Queen of Limassol, the jewel of the Mediterranean, with her impressive chariot. The Cheerleaders of the Cypriot Drivers’ Corps and the Limassol Cheerleaders participate.
6.30 p.m. Singers’ event outside Perama
The singers of Giorgalletou are singing for you. The event is dedicated to the founder of the group, a. Giorgos Giorgalletos. They will be honored for their contribution to the Giorgalletou Cantadors, old cantadors.
Lanitis carob mill
The Harupomylos Lanitis is decorated in a carnival style.
Cartoon exhibition in collaboration with the Association of Cypriot Cartoonists “GEL.A.” and the “Caricature and Sketch Pin Workshop” and a photo exhibition by FEK Limassol Department.
The exhibition will remain open until 18thMarch 2024.
8.30 p.m. Bessy Argyraki – Sofia Arvaniti with 5 members.
The eternal teenager Bessy, the singer of joy but also of quality, meets the explosive and beautiful Sophia who, together with the great musicians, promise you a wonderful special musical evening, full of dance rhythm and big hits.

“Let me Entertain you” with Doros Dimosthenous, Neoklis Neofitidis on the piano and an explosive six-member band, promise an unforgettable evening with the fun and spontaneity of a forgotten era, to remind us that song and dance are the nicer way of entertainment.

Tuesday 12th March 2024
8.00 p.m. Pellomaska Night Parade The Municipality of Limassol in collaboration with Lemesos Media Group organise the Pellomaska night parade. The parade will be led by the Queen of the Carnival, the Royal Family and the Cheerleaders of the Cypriot Guide Corps. Start: Beginning of Angiras Street (in front of the mosque) End: Medieval Castle Square
8.30 p.m. “Tuesday’s dance”, Medieval Castle Square
The Municipality of Limassol invites everyone, young and old, to come dressed up in a different musical program with a retro mood. The band Time Surfers will seduce us and excite us in a retro party with foreign and Greek songs.
The carnival spree continues with music and dancing with DJ Mad Max.

Lanitis carob mill
The space is transformed into a musical scene with the Limassol Male Quartet playing old carols and carnival songs, reminiscing the beautiful romantic times.

8.00 p.m. EVENING CARNIVAL FOOTBALL
Start: Grigoris Auxentiou Square (Command Office)
End: Medieval Castle Square
The Municipality of Limassol in collaboration with the association “Friends of the Limassol Carnival” organize this year the Evening Carnival Walk with the slogan ” Night Masquerade Walks “. The Batukinio Percussion Team and the Limassol Cheerleaders participate.
The Queen of the Limassol Carnival will lead the way.
8.30 p.m. “Thursday’s Dance”, Medieval Castle Square
The Municipality of Limassol invites you to the big Thursday dance to sing and dance with the Evridikis-Blue Duets and six-piece band. A program with Greek and English songs, explosive, full of rhythm, intensity and electricity with surprise duets and of course great hits.
The carnival spree continues with music and dancing by DJ Bereck.

7.00 p.m. Children’s Choirs – Patticheio Municipal Theatre
Chants and carnival songs from the Children’s Choir of Dreams, the Choir of the Musical Horizons of Agia Phyla, the Melodies and Colors Children’s Choir, the Orchestra of the Helicona Conservatory, the Performers by Vassiliki Antoniou, the Children’s Choir, the Music Workshop of the Cultural Movement Epilogi, the Cantus Children’s Choir of the Cantus Choral Music Center Organization Angelina Nikolaidou and the Youth Orchestra and Children’s Choir of Papadakeio Municipal Conservatory.

3.00 p.m. The Old Car Club of Limassol on a carnival route through the city . They will start from the Enaerio parking lot and end at Grigoris Auxentiou Square.
7.00 p.m. Singers in Grigoris Auxentiou Square
The singers of Giorgalletou, the singers of EDON Limassol, the singers of Modern Times, the singers of Ariones, the group “Singers of Limassol”, the group of Cypriot singers, the Male Vocal Ensemble “΄landron” and the choir “Musics wanderings”.
From 6.30 p.m. the choir Musical Wanderings with the Vocal Form of Georgia Protopapas and the Cantadores group of the Limassol Educational Centers will sing.

1.00 p.m. The parade will be preceded by the Philharmonic of the Municipality of Limassol, the Majorettes of the Cypriot Drivers’ Corps, the Cantadores, the Batukinio percussion group and the Limassol Majorettes.
Parade led by the Limassol Carnival Queen, the jewel of the Mediterranean, and her entourage, with floats and groups of pedestrians.
The impressive floats of the Municipality of Limassol will enrich this year’s parade.
9.00 p.m. Outdoor Carnival Dance – Old Port Square
We say goodbye to the Limassol carnival with a festive outdoor carnival dance, masked with DJ Panikos Karpetas in an absolutely carnival program full of fun, rhythm and dance.

Procedure for issuing free entry tickets for the Lanitis Haroopomilo
Participation in the events of the Limassol Carnival that will take place at the Lanitis Haroupomylo is free for the public.
The process of obtaining invitations will be done electronically, either through the website www.ticketmaster.cy or from the box office of the Patticheio Municipal Theater, or from ACS Courier stores.
Invitations will be secured on a first-come, first-served basis. The maximum number of tickets a person can hold is 4.
The program is subject to unforeseen changes.
