J&J ArtworksIn J&J Art Works Gallery in Tala square on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th October.

Jon took up painting in his retirement some years ago. He paints on canvas but has used paper in the past. Jon likes to paint landscapes, seascapes, portraits and abstract compositions, using oils and acrylics.

Sometimes he likes to paint plain air but he also uses photographic reference material and particularly likes to create, from his imagination.

He spent his working life as an accountant and he is happy now to develop his creative side and own style. Jon comes from Poole in Dorset, England.

He likes to mix his own colours using primaries. Jon undertakes commissions and he welcomes you into this exhibition in Tala to share his passion.

Official Opening is at 7.30pm on Friday 13th October.

The exhibition will also be open on Saturday 14th October from 12noon until 8pm.

The J&J Artworks Gallery is easy to find. In the middle of Tala Square.
