If you are seeing, and moreover, hearing low flying military aircraft in the skies above Cyprus there is no need to be alarmed.
Military personnel from the Republic of Cyprus and from Israel are taking part in a two day exercise on Monday 18th & Tuesday 19th December 2018. This is part of the military co-operation programme between the two countries.
The 2 day exercise involves military aircraft from the Israeli Air Force flying within the Nicosia Flight Information Region (FIR). The Cyprus National Guard are also taking part in the annual exercise.
