This multi-cultural event combines picturesque scenery, a pleasant Mediterranean climate along with a choice of hospitality packages in our best hotels. The organisation, marshalling, logistics, amenities, safety precautions and entertainment en-route are amongst the best in the world.
It is a complete running experience and where runners from all over the world get together to celebrate the human spirit, through one of the most remarkable sports. A sport that showcases and challenges the human limits; Marathon!
The 23rd edition of the Logicom Cyprus Marathon (deferred from March 2021) will take place on Sunday, 5th December 2021. The event incorporates four different distances: Marathon, Half-Marathon, the 10km Road Race and the 5km Family Fun Run. The Marathon course starts from ‘Petra tou Romiou’, the Birthplace of Aphrodite, our goddess of love and beauty, and finishes at the Pafos Medieval Castle at the harbour. The race features breath-taking scenery from start to finish and the course follows a flat coastal route alongside the Mediterranean Sea passing traditional Cypriot villages, farm land, olive groves and orchards full of orange blossom. For the Marathon a free coach to the start and baggage service is provided to all runners.
There are fluid stations every 3km, toilets, First Aiders, Police in attendance and cheering spectators along most of the course. The Half-Marathon, 10km Road Race and 5km Family Fun Run, start and finish at the Pafos Medieval Castle which dates back to the Byzantine period of the 13th century. This area by the fishing harbour is transformed into the atmospheric ‘event village’, hosting a number of services as well as baggage collection, post-race rehydration and massages. Enjoy a free beer, music, mingle with family and friends and then watch the awards ceremony.
Trophies are awarded to the first three overall in each race. Plus trophies for the top three men and women in each of the ten age group categories for the Marathon, Half-Marathon and 10km races. All participants will receive their official technical t-shirt, race number with electronic timing chip and other goodies. All Logicom Cyprus Marathon finishers will receive a unique and race specific medal to commemorate their achievement.
The Logicom Cyprus Marathon is certified by AIMS ‘Association of International Marathons and Distances Races’ and ‘World Athletics’. It is also included in the running calendar of the Cyprus Amateur Athletic Federation. The event is dedicated to the Marathon Legend Stelios Kyriakides, the Cypriot who won the 1946 Boston Marathon in order to help 7 million hungry Greeks.

St. Michael’s Hospice Charity is an independent organisation that was formed originally to assist with the provision of funds for the completion of the Archangel Michael Hospice which opened in June 2015. Now our focus is on the daily operational costs of the Archangel Michael Hospice (originally planned to be called St. Michael’s).
Our Core focus is to seek financial support from businesses and other bodies in addition to organising all manner of fund-raising events.
Now that the hospice is complete, we continue to raise funds for the day to day running of the Hospice something which provides a much needed facility in Paphos and in the wider Cyprus in general.
You can help raise funds for the St Michaels Hospice Charity Sponsoring a Nurse Appeal by taking part in the 23rd Logicom Marathon on Sunday 5th December 2021 or the 24th Logicom Cyprus Marathon on Sunday 13th March 2022.
