At the invite of Walking Football Malta, a 40 strong group of male and female players from all clubs in the Cyprus Walking Football Federation, embarked on a 5 day trip back in October.
Walking football was only introduced to Malta 18 months ago, so they are in the early stages of development, but they were great hosts and provided us with facilities to train, as well as organising a mini tournament on the Saturday.
A couple of free days gave everyone the chance to explore the beautiful island, it’s culture and cuisine. CISK beer became a new favourite!!!
A fantastic time was had by all with new friendships made and hopefully a return fixture sometime in 2025 , and as always, Walking Football was the winner!
