The B7 Paphos – Polis Chrysochous road will be closed at the village of Giolou for roadworks from Monday 17th October for 11 days.
The road will be temporarily closed from its junction with the Stroumbi – Kathikas road (E711) to the junction with the road to Simou (E712) from Monday 17th October 2022 until the 27th October 2022.
During the period of the works, access to and from Polis Chrysochous will be via two alternative routes:
Route 1: Stroumbi – Kathikas – Drouseia – Prodromi
Route 2: Polemi – Agios Dimitrianos – Lasa – Simou
The announcement was made by the Paphos District Engineer’s Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works on Thursday 13th October. The Department of Public Works apologizes for the unavoidable inconvenience that will be caused and asks the public to show the necessary understanding and to comply with the temporary road markings and the instructions of the Police.
