‘ACHORD COMMUNITY CHOIR’

with guests ‘Cyprus Brass Band’ & ‘Harmony Singers, Paphos’

As Christmas approaches, Achord choristers are busy working on their Christmas repertoire but, before that, they are well under way with preparations for their annual Concert at Sunshine Taverna, Curium Beach, for local Charities.

Over the past few years, Achord have raised lots of money for charity locally and have invited various musical groups to perform alongside them at their charity concerts, such as the Cyprus-based Island Blend Chorus and The  James Lamberts Singers from North Wales.  Their regular ‘partner’ ensemble is the Cyprus Brass Band which has extremely strong links with Achord.

So what can you expect at this event? Once again, we see Achord performing alongside the Cyprus Brass Band but they are delighted to have the company of the Paphos-based Harmony Singers joining them too.

There will be various joint items from both choirs and there will be some joint choir and brass items too.  Each ensemble will also perform items from their own repertoires and it proves to be an excellent and enjoyable evening, with a wide variety of musical styles.

Tickets for the concert are €10 per person and can be reserved by calling the numbers below. Equally, there will be an ‘after-show’ buffet which audience members can book at €10 per person also.
