The Grant Scheme in question, which will be implemented by the RES and EX.E Fund, provides for a grant for the installation or replacement of integrated water heating systems (hot water cylinder and frames), whose equipment meets minimum technical criteria.

Installations must be done by participating certified installers, from the “List of Participating Installers” and the equipment to be installed must be included in the “List of Eligible Equipment”, which is pre-approved and coded. In this way, applicants are facilitated during the implementation of the investment and the risk of rejection of an application due to ineligibility of equipment is limited. With the approval of the Plan, the registration process in the relevant directories will begin.

The submission of applications is expected to be announced in the near future by the Management Committee of the RES and EXE Fund.

The sponsorship amount per application/residence amounts to:

‒ Category H1 – General Category: €500 / Increase to €900 for residences that fall in the Mountain Areas.

‒ Category H2 – Vulnerable Households: €900.

The Scheme has a budget of one million euros and the application process will remain valid until 20.12.2024 or until the final submission of 1,500 applications, whichever comes first.

Those interested can be informed about the Grant Scheme, but also submit an Application, when the submission of applications starts, through the website of the RES and EXE Fund .
