Following the instruction from the Ministry of Finance to form a company to operate the 5 Charity Shops we are pleased to advise that our application to become a “not-for-profit limited company” was approved by the Registrar of Companies with our certification number HE45585.
As of the date of the approval being 15th January 2024, the Association is considered dissolved. The announcement date being of 8th February 2024.
St Michael’s Hospice Charity Ltd is an independent organisation our objective remains the same to focus to raise funds for the Hospice known as “Archangel Michael Hospice” which opened in 2015.
We St Michael’s Hospice Charity Ltd raise funds through our network of five charity shops in the Paphos region as well as events, sponsors, and donors, all run by an army of committed and dedicated volunteers. The team effort is utterly amazing.
