The Cyprus Department Of Meteorology have issued a Yellow Extreme High Temperature Warning for Saturday 29th August, valid from 1pm until 5pm.
The maximum temperature is expected to rise to around 40 degrees Celsius inland and to around 32 degrees Celsius over Troodos highest peaks.
