Sunday 17th June 2018
After the great success of the Beekeeping & Honey Festival in Rural Larnaca, which took place last June in Odou, attracting 30 Exhibitors and over 2.500 visitors, the nine communities of Larnaca, along with the Municipality of Lefkara, and the Municipality of Larnaca, are cooperating once again, to organise the second Honey Festival in Odou-the Royal land, a land blessed with aromatic plants, bees and monasteries.
The Association of professional Beekeepers is leading this year, again, in cooperation with the Cyprus Association of Beekeepers, for the promotion of all Beekeepers and pure, local Cyprus honey and its by-products.
A sweet escape full of the aroma and flavour of Honey, in the beautiful scenery of Rural Larnaca. A Market with over 25 Exhibitors, Female Entrepreneurship with honey, a Bee Garden for our little friends, gastronomy, wellness and beauty, and handcrafts are a few of the attractions of the Festival.
The youth centres of the region, which last year amazed us with their energy and perfect organization, are getting ready to welcome the visitors to the upgraded village of Odou, which this year will provide coolness, by the water Springs near the venue, and a new attraction, the first Bee Hotel in Cyprus, because above all we care for our bees.
Second Beekeeping & Honey Festival in Rural Larnaca in Odou, with the cooperation of the Communities of Kato Lefkara, Kato Drys, of Vavatsinia, Layia, Ora, Agii Vavatsinias, Melini, and the Municipalities of Lefkara and Larnaca.
