The Cyprus Meteorological Department has issued a Yellow weather warning in place from midnight until 9am on Wednesday 8th October 2025.
Isolated heavy thunderstorms are likely to affect initially the western and the southern coastal areas and later the eastern coastal areas. In storm hail is likely while surface wind will be variable strengthening.
The precipitation rate is expected tο range between 35 and 55 millimeters per hour.
