Coronavirus: 207 New Cases and 4 Deaths Announced on Friday

Announcement of the Ministry of Health regarding new cases of COVID-19 disease

In addition to the three deaths announced earlier today, the death of another male patient with COVID-19, aged 80, with underlying diseases, who was hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit of the Nicosia General Hospital, is announced. The ultimate cause of death is attributed to COVID-19. The total number of final causes of COVID-19 is 38, (24 men and 14 women), with an average age of 75 years.

In addition, the Ministry of Health informs that, according to information received today by the Epidemiological Surveillance Unit from contracting laboratories, out of a total of 3,088 laboratory diagnoses, 207 new cases of COVID-19 were identified.
