The Cyprus Met office have issued 2 Yellow weather warnings for rainfall and wind.
The Rainfall Warning is valid from 10pm on Monday night (15/01/19) until 10pm Tuesday night (15/01/19). The Met Office state “Rain and local thunderstorms are expected to affect the area. The total rain accumulation is likely to locally exceed 55 millimeters in 24 hours.”
They have also issued a Yellow Wind Warning valid from 8am until 8pm on Tuesday (15/01/19). The Met Office state “The southwesterly wind mean speed is expected to be 7 beaufort (near Gale)and locally 8 beaufort (gale)over the coasts.
