Hiv/Aids Support Soon To Go Mobile With Charitable Support

K.Y.F.A. HIV/AIDS Support Center has welcomed charitable support from local company, Stars in Their Eyes Entertainment. Ongoing donations will enable K.Y.F.A. to continue offering its free checkpoint in Limassol, and help to fund its new mobile unit taking services island-wide, which is due to be launched in the next few months.

Stars in Their Eyes Entertainment brings tribute acts on tour from the UK to Limassol, Episkopi, Larnaca and Paphos. K.Y.F.A. will benefit from the proceeds of concerts run by Stars in Their Eyes Entertainment.

Stella Michaelidou, K.Y.F.A.’s board director, said, “This support will enable K.Y.F.A. to run its vital services, which include the only testing service in Cyprus that is free of charge, confidential and anonymous. Our new mobile unit will take our services to other cities in the island and allow us to reach more people.”

Stars in their Eyes Entertainment director, Derek Lainsbury, said: “We are delighted to support K.Y.F.A. in its work to provide support to people living with HIV/AIDs and to raise awareness in Cyprus.”
