Another Yellow High Temperature Warning

The Cyprus Met Office have issued a another Yellow Extreme High Temperature Warning.

The yellow alert is valid from 12:30pm until 5pm on Monday 12th August 2019.

The Department of Meteorology state that the maximum temperature is expected to rise to around 41 degrees Celsius inland and to around 32 degrees Celsius over troodos’ highest peaks.

A Yellow Extreme High Temperature Warning explanation – Be aware that high temperatures are expected. Some health risks amongst vulnerable people e.g. the elderly and very young are possible.
